We are Lawyers

I remember a couple mug that I've seen long ago (like the picture above), it says on the cup for boys, "Mr. Right" and for the girls, "Ms. Always Right". It looks funny and cool but on the other hand, this simple label says something very meaningful. We are always looking for Mr. Right but do boys ever dream to have their "the one" who's ALWAYS right? Always right, in the sense that she'll always end up being on the right track although not, defending her actions all the time even her wrongdoings, and lastly having the power over anybody in decision making because she's too confident of herself being correct as always. Maybe none of them wants, but most girls act this way. We felt that we're the one who always have the right to talk, to scold and to explain.
Do you think you're one of them? Are you unconscious of your act explaining and criticizing too much on someone or something? If you think so, maybe you're one of those girls who have the future to be a lawyer. Kidding! HAHA!

Admit it or not, girls always act as attorneys in a relationship. We always fight for what we believe and what we think is right. Even in a group, it seems that it's the girls who always have the right to suggest. We speak our comments and violent reactions out loud whenever we have every group discussions. Our talkative and showy attitudes help us to express more what we are thinking and feeling.
Most of the times, we still asked people although we already know the answer or what the truth is. We just want to see if that person is lying or not. That's why we're reacting violently if we don't get our expected answers. We feel so powerful knowing that the person in front of us is lying that's why we talk full of authority sometimes like a lawyer.
There's nothing wrong in expressing our thoughts and ideas but remember when it became too much, eventually nothing good will happen. Before we talk like lawyers in an argument or conversation we should always bring with us a pair of listening ear and a mind that's open and understanding. Pretty good that we're just lawyers not liars but we must still know our limitations. We are lawyers and like them, we also commit mistakes so we should always keep our feet on the ground because what I've said is that "we're lawyers" not "we're perfect".
